tasos angelopoulos

was born in Thessaloniki and lives between Athens and Thessaloniki. He directs performances for young audiences, is a lecturer at Aristotle University of Thessalonikis School of Drama (AUTH) and teaches classes on drama in education (public primary education). Other studies: MA in Sociology (AUTH), BA in Theatre (School of Drama, AUTH), BA in Law (Law School, AUTH). Since 2011, he has coordinated PAPALANGKI Theatre Company, which cooperates with Porta Theatre (Athens) and the Experimental Stage of Art (Thessaloniki) and has participated in the Dimitria Festival and the International Puppet Festival of Kilkis.

He has conducted many workshops for children, teenagers and adolescents. During the academic year 2013/2014, he was a teaching collaborator for the classes "Directing Approaches" and "Directing I" at AUTH. He also teaches theatre for public primary education. He has written the book "Playing Theatre: Plays and Exercises for Theatrical Education" as well as several articles on drama or/and theatre in education issues.

 

eibhlín de barra

is the director of "Young at Art", Northern Ireland `s leading children `s arts provider. Established in 1998 as the creator of the country `s first international arts festival for children and young people, "Young at Art" has given rise to both the festival (the annual multi-artform Belfast Children `s Festival, which takes place in early March) and a year-round programme of events that reach an average of 50,000 children and adults each year and include performances, exhibitions, showcases, industry events, artist development, workshops and special projects. The organisation comprises the charity "Young at Art", the social enterprise agency "Young at Art Events", and the creative writing centre "Fighting Words Belfast." Eibhlín holds an MSc in cultural management (University of Ulster), a BA (Hons.) in drama & theatre studies (University of London) and was trained in stage management and technical theatre at RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London). Following a 12-year career in stage and production management, including senior positions at Lyric Theatre Belfast and Abbey Theatre Dublin, Eibhlín has been an arts leader in Northern Ireland for the last 10 years in the areas of theatre, opera, contemporary dance and work for young audiences

 

 

 

eivind haugland

was born in Norway in 1984. In 2011, he completed his master`s degree in drama and theatre at the University of Trondheim. After graduation, he worked as a freelance dramaturge, critic and translator, among others. Haugland was part of the artistic direction team of the independent theatre collective Propellen Teater from 2011-2015 and has served as chairman of ASSITEJ Norway since 2014. Since 2013, he has additionally worked as a dramaturge and advisor for the regional dance centre DansiT in Trondheim. In 2015, Eivind Haugland headed the selection committee for the Norwegian ASSITEJ festival "Sand".

In the winter semester of 2015/2016, he enrolled in the MA programme in dramaturgy at Theaterakademie Hamburg, which led him to assume a dramaturgical internship at Schauspielhaus Wien during the 2016/2017 season. He completed his final project in March 2017 in cooperation with the drama school Max Reinhardt Seminar. Since the 2017/2018 season, Eivind Haugland has been a dramaturge at Theater Konstanz.

 

 

 

jan schmidt

spent many years working as a freelance producer at various theatres in Sweden, including Cullbergbaletten in Stockholm and several Swedish municipal theatres (Gothenburg, Uppsala, Borås and Teater Halland).

In 2011, he began to work regularly for Backa Teater, the children `s and youth theatre company of Gothenburg  `s municipal theatres. Since 2017, he has held a full-time position as a theatre producer for the Gothenburg municipal theatre system and splits his time between Backa Teater and Stadsteater Götaplatsen. Backa Teater once served as the Swedish national children `s and youth theatre. Since 2006, it has operated under the artistic direction of author and director Mattias Andersson.

Backa Teater `s most recent international tours were for the productions "Acts of Goodness" (e.g. Cologne in 2015 and Stuttgart in 2016) and "The Misfits" (Bologna in 2016, Rennes in 2016 and Moscow in 2017).

 

 

 

hakan silahsizoglu

is the founder and director of Atta Festival, Istanbul `s only international arts festival for children and young people. He also works as a producer, an actor and a translator. He has worked extensively for Talimhane Theatre and produced productions such as "Pippa" as part of the project Europe Now, supported by the EU; projects for Dolapdere Youth Theatre, supported by Open Society; and Tweetakt Children `s and Youth Theatre Festival, supported by the Dutch government.

Hakan Silahsizoglu also produces international tours for small & mid-sized performing arts companies. He serves as coordinator of the Turkish committee of Eurodram, Europe `s largest theatre translation network. He also gives talks on Turkish theatre at various institutes and theatre schools.
