JUDAS: a word, a name, an impression - of someone who is guilty. For two thousand years, his name has irrevocably stood for betrayal, deceit and lies. Yet he remains a negative imprint, a shadow: someone who stories are told about and who has long-since been condemned in our minds. But now he is breaking his silence. His story tells of friendship and how a single decision can set off an avalanche. Because of his betrayal, Jesus died. But this was the only way for him to be resurrected and establish a world religion.

Shouldn `t we regard Judas as a hero, too? Why has one of them become a saviour while the other has been laden with all of the faults of humanity for centuries? "Judas" is a story of identity and ascription and, above all, of great doubt. His version of things chips away at universal impressions and, if nothing else, relentlessly challenges our categories of right and wrong.
